I took this photograph as I just missed the downtown W train, otherwise known as the Broadway Local, leaving the 8th st. subway station. It’s ok though, now that summer is almost here, I’ll just walk.

The hot and humid weather today inspired me to post this photograph I took a while back in my old hood, Greenwich Village (Ironically, that’s Caliente Cab in the background). One Foggy Morning at the Little Red Lighthouse

With the help of my handy iPhone, this shot was taken one early foggy morning on a bike ride up to the Little Red Lighthouse, underneath the George Washington Bridge along the hudson river. Ironically it wasn’t lit, but I bet you the ship in the bottom left could have used a little help!
Sun Halo Spotted in Washington Square Park

Ever see a Sun Halo before? Well this was my first. I headed over to Washington Sq Park to checkout Adoptapalooza – After heading over to a bench to read my book, I looked up and saw this! Pretty neat right? Here is another Sun Halo shot filling the frame. Unfortunately, no Sun Dogs this time (I thought it would have been ironic given the event).

Missing Owner: 1961 Lincoln Continental

I was walking around Chelsea the other day and came across this classic car with beautiful interior. It was a 1961 Lincoln Continental – how do I know? Because THIS guy came up to me and told me – but here’s the thing. He wasn’t even the owner! Just looked the part (checkout the cig in hand).

I snapped a few “artsy” shots while racing to the airport in a cab at 6am in the morning, trying to take my mind of the very real possibility that I might miss my flight out to San Fran (Luckly, it was 6am and the BQE was empty). This was one of my favorites.

So I took this picture the day the market tanked about 4%… Little did I know it had a lot further to go! Needless to say, this was shot down on wall st. I added a little prop dollar bill so it has some meaning/context (otherwise it would just be yet another stock exchange photo). When confronted with a familiar scene such as this, I’d always like to throw in something to make it more interesting. I can think of lots ideas for this shot. This was shot at 14mm and at an angle to emphasize chaos.
