Lights on WEST broadway

DSC_0766

Ok – back from a summer hiatus.  This one was shot down in tribeca around worth and west broadway (looking up west broadway).  I just love the streets and sidewalks down in tribeca.  Everything just seems more spacious and there are never any crowds of people and that’s kinda what I wanted to show in this image.  Here’s the setup:  I shot at dusk instead of night.  I placed the camera on my improvised tripod, the ground, and set the focal length to 18mm to get that wide-angle look.  It took a couple tries to figure out the best exposure time but finally got it at 8 secs.  And of course, since it’s a long exposure, I used a remote to take the picture.

EXIF:

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 8 sec (8)
Aperture: f/22
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV
ISO Speed: 200
